In early June, we rolled out an update to the People Scheduling page that enhanced the Display Options menu. And while we tested the update pretty extensively with IE, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, we failed to test it thoroughly with IE8 and churches with many teams, people, and services scheduled. As a result, people using IE8 in accounts with many teams, people, and services are seeing the page perform very slowly, and IE complain about the page script not responding. Meanwhile, users of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari are experiencing no performance issues at all.
The fix for this has turned out to be more time consuming than we had hoped. So, for the time being, we are redirecting IE8 users to the previous version of the page, and all other browsers to the new version.
If you don't mind trying something new, we highly recommend FireFox and Google Chrome web browsers. They are very fast and secure, and don't have the IE8 performance issues.

I am still having trouble with this feature in Chrome.
Sorry, I was in IE8 at the time but it did not redirect me to the older version of the page.
Bob, can you tell me what kind of trouble you are having?
So in IE8 it is showing all the new display options? Do you see a message near the top of the page that says "where did the new display options go?" or "Does this page look different to you? We've made some changes we think you'll find useful!"
Tom,
I have one user that only recently started experiencing this issue....is a fix still being worked on or should I have him start using another browser? Thanks.
Hi Michael,
We applied an enhancement for this page a few weeks ago, but it still won't really help users of IE8 with large numbers of services and ministries in WP. For IE9, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, the page should be very snappy. Is a browser change something the user might be willing to do?
Tom,
I thought that might be the case. I will advise the user. He runs Windows XP which does not support IE9 so I will try Firefox or Chrome. Thanks for the quick reply.
My pleasure, Michael. We dislike having to ask people to change browsers simply to use the WorshipPlanning.com. But the upside is that I believe the most users' web browsing experience for ALL websites go way up when they change from IE8 to Chrome or Firefox.
