Master Account

Tom Metz -

Every church account in WP has a person designated as the "Master Account" (MA). The MA is the main point of contact for WorshiPlanning.com personnel, and has the ultimate authority when it comes to subscription decisions. There can only be one MA at a time, and he or she must have Security Level 3 access. The MA account cannot be deleted, though the Planner assigned to be the MA can be changed. To change who is MA:

  1. Hover on the account link under your profile name
  2. Click the Church Information menu option
  3. Click on the Edit this Info button
  4. Select the desired Master Account from the drop-down list, then click the Save and Close button

    Hi Tom!

I checked on Church information and my name is there as master account like I want. It is only when you write us under Kevin Connoly's name. Example when you inform me to renew account payment registration.

    Thank you!

    Hi Rémi,

Thanks for letting us know.  I've updated that part of your account so it references your name instead of Kevin's.  Let us know if we can help with anything else.

Can you access this information if you are not the master account? I'm trying to change it to where I am the master account for my church.

I am logged in to the current master account, and I follow your instructions, but in the "Master Account:" pulldown, there is only one choice ... the current one.

How does this pulldown list get populated??

Hi Matt.  I know we talked by phone, but I wanted to respond here to provide info for others that might read these comments.  The list in the "Master Account" pull down is populated by people with Account Admin security rights (which, of course, have to be Planner accounts).

    Hi Matt and Dave!

Like Tom said at the end of his last message, if you add your name (or an other one) and gives him the third level of security in the planner accounts, it will automaticly added at the list pull down.

On our account, we are two persons with the third level of security and both of names appears in this list.
