Printing Services

Tom Metz -

WP allows you to print the service flow and a listing of service roles, assignments, and responses. To access the various print options, hover over "action" in the upper right-hand corner of the Worship Flow & select Printouts from the drop-down menu. The resulting page gives you several print out options:

    • Standard - Traditional printout that allows the greatest flexibility in formating your printout with the use of the "Format" window. You can also export this page to MS Word or Excel.
    • Flow and AssignmentsTighter worship flow display with team assignments below. General service information and service notes appear in lower left corner.
    • Clean - Simply layout with the ability to easily show/hide columns usinig the "Toggle Columns" bar. Extra Notes appears as individual columns
    • Clean (columns) - Clean printout with column dividers
    • Clean (rows) - Clean printout with rows dividers
    • Roles - List of people scheduled to serve at this service, and thier assignment responses.
    • Sign-in Sheet (confirmed assignments)- Lists by team, people scheduled to serve, along with a blank line for them to sign-in upon arrival
    • Sign-in Sheet (all assignments) - Similar to the Sign-in Sheet, except that penciled in and empty roles are displayed as well.
    • Set List - Just a list of songs performed during this service

Hi Alisha.  The service navigation link is one of the links across the top of the page, just to the right of the "Home" link.

We would like to print out a master calendar that shows an overview of those scheduled for the Nursery team a month at a time.  Is there a way to do this?

Ditto Connie's query about printing out the entire month calendar.  What's the process?

Sorry for not replying in this forum, Desley.  Some of these posts were responded to vai support ticket and we forgot to update this discussion.  We are working on the ability to create a variety of custom print-out, and I believe a calendar view expressed here is one of the options.

An option you have right now can be found by navigating to People >> Planners >> Schedule Speadsheet tab.  This tab allows you to select a team and date range, it it will display a grid of team members and services, with their assignments at the intersecting cells.  You can also export this grid to MS Excel.

Hi Desley.  I see you have a support ticked opened regarding this, so I am going to shift our conversation over to there (and I'll attach the file there as well).

Is it possible to shift the position of the assignments when I print 'flow and assignmenst' ?

sometimes it helps to keep the printing limited to one page, in stead of 2 members of the band on page 2

    Thanks!

Is there any way to change the fields in the "manage services" page? We are trying to duplicate a spreadsheet that our pastors use to plan ahead, and it would be helpful to include other information than is included here. Specifically, I'd like to show who is speaking, as well as have a field for "special" information, such as holidays, baptisms, etc. or when someone on the preaching staff is unavailable.

Trying to send to Word, but now when it appears in word the grid lines don't appear and a lot of song information appears that didn't before. Is there some setting that needs to be changed?

Hey Tom I have the same concern that Anil has. I just tried calling but didnt get answer. Can you offer an advice about how we might be able to retrieve the old format?

Hi Anil and Joseph.  We are hoping to add a way to access the old printouts sometime tomorrow (probably an additional button on print page).  I'm sorry for the inconvenience the updated printout might have caused.

Hi Anil and Joseph.  We've added the old button back.  Can you give it a try and post back if you still have problems?

A little while ago, default printouts used to include the song keys and BPM for tempo. Those seem to have disappeared and I can't figure out how to get them back. It was very useful for us to have that on the worship flow printouts, as it was used by musicians in selecting the right charts to rehearse with, setting up background pads/loops, setting click tracks, etc. Did you guys remove that capability, or am I missing it?

Hi Travis.  I think there is something strange going on with your account because the key and BPM is there for other church accounts.  I'm going to create a support request for you so we can track this down.

Is there a way to customize the service printouts?

Hi Jenny.  Yes, there are several ways.  On the "Standard" printout, you can click the "Format" button and you have a few options there.  For the Flow and Assignments, you can select which teams to show.  And for all the "clean" printouts, you can show or hide any column by clicking on the column name in the grey bar.

    Does that help?

    Hi!
I wanted to make a printout for my service and tried to format printout and then print. It made the rounded area on the printout(in the picture). It would be nice if it didn't stay there when I save my printout or print it. :) For now it appears to be there when I print my custom printout.

    Hello Admin,

It appears that you are printing the browser screen rather than using either the "print" button or the "Format" button on the screen. If you choose the "format" button, you will have additional choice for changing how the printout looks and even options to print to different file types. If you need further help, please feel free to send in a support ticket to us.

    Hi there

I am trying to print out the details of our service, including the roles. The clean (columns) layout is favorable, but there seems to be no way to include the roles. Is there a way to do this without having to make multiple printouts?

    Thanks

    Hayley

    Hello Hayley-

Have you tried the "Flow and Assignments" printout. This one has the information you want. The format is similar, but not exact. The roles are printed according to your setting just below the service flow.

    Hello Day

Yes, I've tried that. The problem with that setup is that all the special notes for specific individuals run across the width of the page, making it very messy and obscuring the "columns". This is why I like the clean (column) look - it keeps things tidy and is easier to read at a glance.

I've overcome this issue for now by putting all my notes in the general notes section - which prints in its own column instead of across the whole page. But it defeats the whole point of being able to write notes for individual people.

    Thanks

    Hayley
