Multiple Assignment Response Emails

WorshipPlanning.com allows people to be notified via email when someone responds a certain way to an assignment. If you receive duplicate notifications when someone responds to an assignment, it is likely you have assignment response notifications configured in two ways: the "old" way and the "new" way. 

Before WorshipPlanning.com had Teams Scheduling (back when just worship teams used the site), we added a "Send Assignment response notification" field to the Service Details page (where the date, time, location, message topic, etc. are specified). When an email address is entered here, assignment responses of ALL assignments (regardless of team) are sent to that address. 

When we add "Team" functionality, we determined that assignment responses should probably be sent to individual team leaders. So, we added (to the Team Settings tab) the ability to specify if team-member assignment responses are to be sent to team leaders.

We haven't removed the "old" way because there are many small churches using WP just for their worship team and don't desire to use the "team" functionality.
