The short answer is YES, one email address can be used for multiple login accounts in WorshipPlanning.com. And depending on how you set the passwords, a single person could manage all accounts, or each account could be managed independently.
Single Person Managing Multiple Accounts
If two or more accounts have the same email address, and the password is set to be the same for all of them, then you will be prompted during the login process to select which account you wish to log into. This is especially helpful in the following situations:
- You are a parent managing the accounts for your children.
- You serve at more than one church that uses WorshipPlanning.com and thus have multiple accounts just for yourself.
Multiple People Managing Their Own Accounts
If two or more people share an email address but each needs to manager their own WorshipPlanning.com account, then as long as the passwords are different for each account, each person will be able to log in separately (without being given the option to "select which account".
Do You Know About Email Aliasing?
It's a little know secret that you can easily create different email addresses that feed to the same inbox by simply adding a few characters to part of your email. For example, if you have the email address of "dad@myfamily.com", you can use the email address "dad+son@myfamily.com" and "dad+daughter@myfamily.com", and messages sent to those addresses will land in the inbox of "dad". You can make up any name or word(s) to follow the "+" symbol, and it should work, with you having to configure anything in your email software. Just don't uses spaces or any other characters that are not valid for email addresses. Nice, eh?
