WP has a security policy in place that forces inactive logins to expire after a period of 10 minutes or so. However, a handful of users have reported that immediately after logging in, they are taken to the Session Timeout page when they try to navigate the WP site or respond to an assignment.
To date, the exact cause of this issue is unknown since we are not able to reproduce it in any of our environments. As best we can tell, it is related to memory caching done by the user's browser, computer, or network (possibly even their Internet Service Provider). The way we know this is because usually the person can go to another computer on a different network, and the issue goes away.
But we do have a workaround. It seems that if the person logs into WP with a slightly different web address, the issue goes away (even though it is still exactly the same site). The alternate link to try is:

We are continuing to research this issue. It is a known problem among other websites, but no one seems to have a permanent resolution for it.
